Stay Strong, Connected
and Confident in Forfar

Vibrant Health Advocates – Veritas brings together gentle group exercise, trusted health guidance and genuine community for Forfar's retired residents, so that growing older in Angus means growing stronger, not more isolated.

🏃
Gentle Group Movement

Weekly seated and standing exercise sessions designed for people aged 60 and over, adapting to individual ability and health conditions across accessible Forfar venues.

📋
Trusted Health Information

Every workshop and resource we produce is grounded in current NHS guidance — we cut through jargon, address common concerns honestly and signpost to the right services.

📣
Advocacy for Older Residents

When older people in Forfar face barriers — accessing GP services, navigating social care — our advocates stand alongside them and ensure their voices are heard.

A genuine community at the heart of Forfar

For retired people living in and around Forfar, staying well is about far more than a doctor's appointment once a year. It is about having somewhere to go on a Tuesday morning where the faces are familiar, the exercises are designed for your body, and the health information you receive is honest, evidence-based and explained in plain language.

Vibrant Health Advocates – Veritas was built on exactly that belief. We work at the heart of this Angus market town, running regular movement sessions, health literacy workshops and one-to-one advocacy support so that older residents can make informed decisions about their own wellbeing, stay physically active in ways that feel good, and remain fully part of the life of their community for as long as possible.

We are not a clinical service and we are not a drop-in centre: we are neighbours, volunteers and health advocates who happen to know that consistency, warmth and reliable information change lives.

Real people, real community

Our sessions take place in community halls, local cafés and quiet meeting rooms across Forfar. Every week, dozens of older residents arrive, move, learn, ask questions and leave feeling a little more capable and a little more connected than when they came in.

That is not an accident — it is the product of careful, consistent, relationship-based work by our volunteers and staff, year after year.

Vibrant Health Advocates – Veritas exists to help the retired and older residents of Forfar and the surrounding Angus area live with greater strength, confidence and independence — providing accessible group exercise, honest health education, and skilled personal advocacy that amplifies the voices of older people within the health and social care systems that serve them.
